Paz wins a medal!

Well wins is a strong word there. She didn't participate in the bobsledding event at the Olympics or anything. But her hometown of Sevilla, Spain recently doled out a medal of appreciation for spreading good word of the town around the world.

In similar news, my hometown of North Lauderdale, Florida has yet to bestow that honor on me. Come on guys. Way to keep a feller waiting.

Here is a photo of Paz at the medal bestowing event. They also apparently bestowed her baby with a golden pacifier:

Triage Update

A lot of Bothan spies died to get these photos. Here are some candids of Paz and Colin "I Would Do Anything For Love But I won't Do That" Farrell leaving their hotel room to go to the set of their upcoming thriller "Triage."

Paz looks cute and a bit tired. Colin, however, woo boy. Don't get me started. Let the nightmares commence.

Paz gets a big new role!

Paz has just signed to co-star along Colin "Do I look fat in this?" Farrell in the upcoming thriller "Triage." The movie will be directed by Oscar winner Danis Tanovic and is being adapted from a book written by Scott Anderson. Yes. That Scott Anderson.

Wait. Actually. Not that Scott Anderson. I was thinking of the Scott Anderson who my 6th grade crush went out with instead of me. Probably not that Scott Anderson anyways. He didn't seem like a writer.

Anyway look for the flick early next year.

The family that walks together...

Um, caulks together? That works. Caulking sticks stuff together. It's better than "stalks" at any rate.

At any rate, here are some photos a photographer snapped of Paz walking her baby Orson around Los Angeles recently. Note the menacing look on Orson's eyes. Maybe it should have been "stalks together" after all. Just kidding, it's just a baby! Babies don't know menace....yet.

Diamonds are a Paz's best friend

Paz Vega recently appeared on the cover of Elle magazine in a dress made almost entirely of diamonds. I wonder what Nina Garcia would say if a Project Runway contestant came up with that during a challenge.

As expected, Paz looks stunning. She is also totally unbreakable in it. Look for the magazine on newstands in, well, Spain.

Sisterly Love

Paz just signed on to costar in a film called "Sisters" which will also star Jessica Alba and Eliska Amor. The film will chronicle the life and times of three sisters who are struggling to cope with the loss of their parents. Curtis "8 Mile" Hanson signed on to direct so I fully expect awesome freestyle battles. Nothing helps you cope with the tragic death of your parents like some rhymes.

And oh yeah. Eliska plays a stripper.

No release date has been set. More later.

Paz and Tim Allen sitting in a tree

This just in: Paz Vega and Tim Allen are getting married!

Oh, wait, nevermind. It's just for a movie. What a scandal that would have been. Paz recently signed on to costar in
"The Six Wives of Henry Lefay". She'll be playing, you guessed it, one of those six wives. Kelli Garner and Andie Macdowell will also share a bed with the venerable "Home Improvement" star. Here is to hoping Tim Allen will treat bigamy with the same subtlety and nuance he treated motorcycling(Wild Hogs), Christmas(Santa Clause trilogy) and accidentally becoming a dog(That one movie where he accidentally becomes a dog.)

And if not, at least Paz will look great.
